Garuda Wisnu Kencana-Jimbaran

Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is one of the icons of Bali . This location can be reached with about 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport Bali , located in the south of the island of Bali is in the region Ungasan Jimbaran hill , Bali . This monument was developed into a cultural park as the name implies is a manifestation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism is known as the God of Nature Preserver ( Sthiti ) . It appears the god riding eagle middle so it looks very dashing . For the eagle 's own figures you can see from a story titled " Garuda and his Kingdom " which tells the story of so noble devotion to his mother eagle bondage of action until finally protected by Lord Vishnu as the preserver god . This statue is a symbol of efforts to save the world's environment . Made from a mixture of steel and copper which weighs up to 4,000 tons , with a height that reaches 75 meters and width of 60 meters . From the top of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue later we can see and enjoy the charm of the resort island of Bali . The beauty of Kuta Beach , Sanur Beach , Nusa Dua beach and downtown Denpasar . Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park Bali became a tourist attraction , but also a performing arts center . This sculpture will be the largest sculpture in the world .
